“I’m apprehensive about tarot readings. What’s your reading style?”
Some people are apprehensive about the idea of tarot readings because they’re afraid they’ll get doom-and-gloom answers. That’s not the way I read, and I’m generally wary of those who do read that way, because grifters often do that to scare clients into buying further readings or “curse removals” from them. The way I read is accessible, honest, practical, and straightforward. This unique style is what’s made me a successful, internationally-published, prolific tarot author.
Every single card carries multiple lessons, and those that others interpret as inherently negative always have a silver lining. For example, The Tower is one of the most feared cards because it represents complete destruction and major upheaval. However, the way I see it, The Tower shows that big, foundational changes may feel destabilizing at first, but they’ll make room for new beginnings. It’s okay to outgrow friendships, careers, and places that don’t suit you anymore. You can always start again and build a stronger foundation that’s more aligned with your current trajectory and desires. My reading style is known for making even those new to divination feel at ease.

“Are your virtual divinatory readings as effective as in-person readings?”
For the first ten years or so that I practiced divination daily, I didn’t really believe it was possible to effectively read at a distance. I had to have someone in front of me to imbue the reading with their energy. As I developed my intuitive muscles, I’ve tapped into magick in a way that’s far more expansive than I’d ever thought possible. I can zero in on a person’s energetic signature wherever they are in the world. I’ve successfully conducted direct message/FaceTime/Zoom readings for friends in Arizona, England, Ohio, Las Vegas, New York, Portugal, and other distant locales.
When I read at a distance, I imagine my energy transcending this physical plane and tapping into the quantum through-line that connects us all to attune myself to the person I’m looking for. Having an image of my subject(s) helps give my mind an anchoring point during readings, so I always prefer that. But I’m now firmly a believer that readings at a distance are possible, and sorry for being doubtful in my younger years.
“What are your spiritual beliefs?”
Anyone offering spiritual services should give you transparency about their own beliefs. So, here’s a quick summary of my own. I don’t subscribe to any religion or structured spirituality. My first steps into the craft were Wiccan, as I was twelve years old and the only occult books I could find at Barnes and Noble at the time were on Wicca. These days, my practice incorporates animism; astral travel; astrological forecasting; elemental magick; crystal gridding and meditation; divination in many forms; hearthcraft; honoring the seasons; kitchen witchery; Lithuanian folk magick; spellcasting; spirit communication; elements of Shinto (神道); and transcendental meditation.
On Deities: I grew up in an Evangelical, fire-and-brimstone household that punished critical thought and self-expression (especially in girls and women); I spent my childhood feigning praise for a god I didn’t believe in order to stay housed and safe. I don’t believe in omnipotent deities. If they do exist, the way I see it, they don’t seem very worthy of praise if they’re allowing so much pain and suffering to take place on this physical plane. I don’t resonate with the concepts of most deities, but I do love the animistic idea of kami (神).
On Magick: Divination continues to enlighten and fascinate me two decades deep into exploration. I regularly participate in astrological forecasting, automatic writing, charm casting, tarot reading, Lithuanian folk divinatory practices, and dabble in other forms. The way I experience and use magick is rooted in the quantum and very expansive; it’s not bound by space, time, or humanity’s constructs. But I don’t believe there’s one “correct” spiritual path. We’re all different spirits from different origins on different journeys. What’s right for one may not be so for another. Diversity is part of the beauty of this life.
On The Afterlife: I don’t think there’s a singular destination for us all upon death. I believe in reincarnation, but I don’t think all of us reincarnate. Some spirits are called to different metaphysical planes; home planes, or planes that hold more lessons for them. Some of us enter expansive spiritual states of peace, like what some might call Nirvana, but we can still manifest ourselves from that state to have more “lives” or experiences on different planes. I’ve travelled to my home plane in dreams and through meditation, and it’s made me completely at peace with the afterlife. This is part of what enables me to adopt hospice and senior animals; I know that there’s so much more beyond this life, even if I’m not privy to all the details. There’s a lot of beauty, ease, and peace beyond this physical world, and my goal in offering spiritual services, whether as an author or through divinatory readings, is to help wake up the part of your consciousness that remembers your truest self so you, too, can create a deeper bond with yourself and your intuition. This better enables us to experience what we came to experience and learn what we came to learn from this life.
On Inclusivity: I recognize that people from many different walks of life are interested in occult practices. Whether you identify as a Hecate devotee, a Muslim witch, a Jewish occultist, Wiccan—whatever your spirituality or religion—you’re welcome here. Divination and magick are for anyone who wants to explore them (respecting closed cultural/religious practices, of course). I live life with compassion, curiosity, and open-mindedness, and that’s all I really hope from anyone partaking in my services. All faiths are welcome, the LGBTQIA+ community is welcome, the Disabled are welcome, beginners are welcome, advanced occult practitioners are welcome. I wholly reject the spiritual ableism rampant in modern religious and witchy spaces.
“Is your work safe for the LGBTQ+ community?”
I’m a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, and am wholly supportive of the full queer spectrum. Trans-exclusionary language and practices are, unfortunately, common in both traditional and modern witchcraft spaces, but you won’t find them within my work. Trans men are men; trans women are women; trans kids deserve to grow up to be happy adults. I’ll respect your pronouns. Mine are she/her/they and I identify as pansexual.
“Are your readings accessible/disability-friendly?”
I have physical and neurological disabilities as well as autoimmune diseases; I care deeply about the Disabled community and your access! I offer several different divination reading styles to help accommodate your preferences and needs: online chat, video meeting, or pre-recorded video emailed to you.
